What we collect. Your email and password (hashed); the profiles, memories, photos, and voice recordings you upload; your conversations with Companions; plan and usage records; and payment status via Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers).

How we use it. Solely to run the service: generating Companion replies (conversation content and persona profiles are sent to our AI provider to produce responses), creating and playing synthetic voice (recordings are sent to our voice provider), generating video where applicable, billing, and support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train AI models.

Who touches your data. Our infrastructure host, our AI text provider, our voice provider, our video provider (Presence plan), and Stripe for payments — each only receives what's needed for their function.

Sensitivity. We understand this data is among the most personal there is. Grief-related conversation content is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond generating the responses you asked for.

Retention & deletion. Content is kept while your account is active. Deleting a Companion permanently removes its conversations, uploads, memories, and the synthetic voice, including deletion at our voice provider. Deleting your account removes everything, cancels billing, and is irreversible.

Security. Passwords are hashed, transport is encrypted (HTTPS), uploads are stored with non-guessable filenames in a directory that cannot execute code, and access requires your authenticated session.

Your rights. You can access your content in-app at any time, and delete any of it (or all of it) yourself without asking us. For anything else — export requests, questions, concerns — email support@aigriefbot.com.

Children. Accounts are for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
