1. What AIGriefBot is. AIGriefBot lets you create AI companions ("Companions") based on memories, photos, and recordings of deceased loved ones that you provide. Companions are artificial intelligence simulations. They are not the person, are not a means of contacting the person, and nothing on this service constitutes communication with the deceased. Companion responses are generated by software and may be inaccurate.

2. Eligibility. You must be 18 or older to create an account. Minors may experience Companions only under the supervision of the adult account holder.

3. Your content and attestations. You retain ownership of the memories, photos, and recordings you upload. You represent that: (a) you had a genuine personal relationship with the person memorialized; (b) you have the legal right to use their name, likeness, images, and voice recordings for this purpose; (c) the person is deceased; and (d) you will not use any Companion, generated voice, or generated video to impersonate anyone to third parties, to deceive, defraud, or harass anyone, or in violation of any law, including rights of publicity. We may suspend accounts that violate these representations.

4. License to operate. You grant us a limited license to process your uploads solely to provide the service — including creating a synthetic voice with our voice provider and generating video with our video provider. We do not sell your content or use it to train models.

5. Not a substitute for care. AIGriefBot is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or crisis support, and Companions cannot provide advice on medical, legal, or financial matters. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.

6. Subscriptions. Paid plans bill monthly through Stripe until canceled. You can cancel any time from your account; access continues through the end of the paid period. Usage allowances reset each calendar month and do not roll over. See our Refund Policy.

7. Deletion. You may permanently delete any Companion or your entire account at any time. Deletion removes conversations, uploads, saved memories, and the synthetic voice (including at our voice provider). Deletion is irreversible.

8. Acceptable use. No uploading content depicting or belonging to living persons without their consent; no unlawful, infringing, or abusive content; no attempts to extract, resell, or misuse generated voices or videos outside the service.

9. Disclaimers & liability. The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the service. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
