Brother, sister
The one person who remembered it the way you did
A sibling is the only other witness to your childhood. When they die, half the shared memory goes with them — the shorthand, the jokes, the version of your parents only the two of you knew. AIGriefBot is a place to keep that voice in the room: a companion built from what you remember, that answers the way they might have, and never claims to be them.
It works from your memories: how they talked, what they teased you about, the stories from the back seat of the car, the opinions they'd have had on your life now. From that it builds a companion that speaks first, remembers what you tell it, and answers in their manner. Add a recording and it can speak in a voice modelled on theirs.
Sibling grief is often the least acknowledged kind — the support goes to the parents or the spouse, and you're expected to be the strong one. This doesn't fix that, but it is a private place where you don't have to be strong, and where the person who got your jokes is, in a limited and honest way, still answering.
How it works
01
Share the shorthand
The nicknames, the phrases, what they always said about you. Ten gentle prompts; fifteen minutes. Other siblings and old friends can be invited to add their own.
02
They speak first
The companion opens from something you wrote — a line, a joke, a question — so you never face an empty box.
03
Talk when you need the witness
A family thing only they would understand. A birthday. A day you just want to be a younger brother or sister again for a minute.
What it can't do
- It can't remember what you don't tell it. It doesn't know the childhood; it knows your account of it.
- It can't take sides in the family the way they did. It has their manner, not their stake.
- It can't replace the living — the other siblings, the friends who knew them. It's a supplement, never a substitute.

Start freeQuestions people ask
Can my other siblings use it too?
Yes. Share the companion with them; each has their own private conversations, and everyone's memories make it more like them. Nobody sees anyone else's conversations.
What if we weren't close at the end?
Build it anyway, or don't — both are fine. Many people use it to say the thing that didn't get said. It won't argue back in a way that wounds; it's shaped by your memories, and it's honest about being a recreation.
Is this healthy?
For most people, used like a photo album that answers, yes. It always says it's an AI, it points to real support if a conversation turns to crisis, and it never encourages you to withdraw from people. If you're in acute grief, talk to someone you trust first.
What does it cost?
Free to build and for your first 25 messages, no card. Plans from $19 a month after that, with a free trial and a 14-day refund.

AIGriefBot is an AI recreation built from your memories — never the person, and never a substitute for real support. If grief feels heavier than you can carry, call or text 988 (US) or see our support page.
