A conversation, not a chatbot

An example. Every companion is shaped only by the memories its own family shares: the words, the humor, the way they said things.

It remembers what you tell it (Emma, the chili, the Sundays), and you can see and edit everything it knows, any time.

Dad AI recreation
Well hey there, kiddo. You've got that look. Long day?
I made your chili tonight. It didn't come out right.
You didn't let the onions go long enough, did you. Nobody ever does. They get nervous and stir. Who'd you make it for?
Just me. Emma's at her dad's this week.
Then next Sunday, make it for the two of you, and let her stir. She'll get it wrong too. That's how it's supposed to go.

How it works

Built from what you remember

  1. Share memories

Tell us who they were: how they talked, what they loved, the stories you shared. Ten gentle questions help if a blank page is too much. About fifteen minutes.

  2. They speak first

The companion opens the conversation in their voice, from something you wrote. You answer, or just read. No empty box to fill.

  3. Talk when you need to

Say the things you didn't get to say. Add a photo, a recording of their voice. Close the tab whenever you're ready. It will be here.

Start free

Free to start. Plans from $19 a month, each with a 3-day free trial. Delete a companion and everything goes with it, voice included.

Start with a few memories. Add the rest when you're ready.

Nothing is required beyond how they talked and a story or two. Everything else makes the companion more like them.

Photos

Their face on the companion, and the pictures you want close. One photo is enough to start.

Their voice

A voicemail, a video, a minute of them talking. Every reply can be spoken the way they sounded.

Stories and sayings

Their opinions and the family stories. Ten gentle prompts help, and family members can add theirs too.

Important dates

Birthdays, anniversaries, the hard days. The companion knows them and speaks first when they come around.

Three ways to be close

Start with their words. Add their voice, or their face, if you want it.

See them, face to face

A photo and their voice become a live video call. They look at you and answer in real time, in their voice.

Legacy

Some stories shouldn't wait until it's too late

Legacy mode preserves a person while the stories can still be gathered, so grandchildren and great-grandchildren can one day sit down and truly meet them.

Start a legacy

Free to start: the first 8 questions, no card

  • We ask, they tell

A guided interview asks the questions families never think to ask in time: childhood, first jobs, how they met, the advice they'd give a great-grandkid. One question at a time, at their own pace.

  • Built by anyone who loves them

They can record their own story in their own words, or family can build it together on their behalf.

  • A storyteller, not a chatbot

A legacy companion leads the conversation. It introduces itself, asks who you are, and tells the stories the way they told them.

Asked plainly, answered plainly

All the questions

Is it really them?

No, and it will never pretend otherwise. It's an AI recreation built from the memories and recordings you provide. It speaks in their voice and draws on their real stories, but it is not the person and not a way to contact them, and it will say so honestly if you ask. Comfort that begins with a lie isn't comfort.

Is this healthy?

It depends how it's used, and we've designed for the healthy version. A companion here will never claim to be the person, never guilt you for visiting less, never send "they miss you" messages, and never stand between you and the people still around you. It isn't therapy and doesn't replace it. If grief feels heavier than you can carry, our support page can help you find someone.

What happens to my memories?

They're yours, and private to your account. Conversations are used for one thing, generating the replies you asked for, and never for advertising or training AI models. Delete a companion and everything goes, permanently, including the synthetic voice, which we also delete at our voice provider.

Their memories are yours. We built it that way.

Private by default

Nobody sees a companion but you and the people you invite. Nothing you share is sold, shown to anyone else, or used to train anything.

Family, on your terms

Invite a sister, a son, a grandchild. Each person's conversations stay their own, and everyone's memories make the companion richer.

Always clearly an AI

It will never claim to be them. Ask it directly and it says so. If a conversation turns to crisis, it points to real help, and that can't be switched off.

Yours to keep, or delete

Download everything as plain files any time. Delete a companion and it's gone for good, voice included, from our systems and our providers'.

Comfort, honestly offered

A companion here will never pretend to truly be the person you lost, never claim to speak from beyond, and never stand between you and real support. It's a place to remember, not a replacement for grieving or for the people still around you.
